Food delivered..

It has been raining on and off since evening. There is thunderstorm and lightening with strong winds. So we have a constant power interruption since evening.
On the top the power back up of our building and the next two adjacent buildings had some issue. It took more than an hour to call the electrician and get it fixed. Thankfully it is fixed now.
In all this fiasco I couldn't cook the dinner. And it was getting late for it. We have an early dinner and it is already past our regular dinner time.
It's good that my husband ordered food from outside and it is just delivered.
The power back up is fixed and we have food on table. So things are back to normal!
We will enjoy the meal and then I will finish some chores in kitchen.
I will get back to mylotting after that before hitting the pillow.

Yes we realize how important is power when we don't have it. Having a good power back up never made us realize that the power is gone. Yesterday we felt it.

Yes we had rain till 10. But today morning sun and heat was back. We have clouds and let's see if it rains.
I had planned to cook macaroni salad and soup. I could somehow manage to do half of it. I made macroni salad and just ordered veg and non veg kebabs to fill our stomach. we enjoyed it.

@arunima25 It was awful storm. Speed or air was to much fast. I also faced this type of storm before two year on the day of marriage of my daughter.

@arunima25 No on that day every thing was destroyed, tents and foods. I lost near by 2.5 lacs.

@anil02 Yes. It did some damage. But weather has been cool since then.Storm during marriage can be a trouble. I hope things went smooth.

We planned to cook macroni salad and soup. I was almost done with salad and so we just ordered some veg and non veg kebabs to go with it and fill our stomach. Ordering a full meal would have led the salad to go waste.

@amitkokiladitya Yes the veg hara bhara kebab was good. Hubby and children liked their chicken tikka and sheek kebab. Actually this place in our neighborhood is known for kebabs and snacks.

Our power back up is too quick and good. So power cuts don't bother us. Yesterday it got an issue and we had to suffer.
Today is sunny bright and I am scared that it might get too hot.

We had unannounced guests the other day who said they did not have breakfast. We have a nice place from where our gardener picked up the breakfast.

We have power cuts when it rains but our power back up is quick and too good. So we never realize it. Yesterday there was issue with the power back up.
