No, what you can see in this picture is not snow, it is cotton from trees. The streets are full of it and lot of people has allergic problems due to this cotton. I don't know the name of these trees as they are new in my country but its flower is cotton. Do you have this tree where you live? Do you have spring allergies?

Those are the seeds of poplars, there are plenty here and I am allergic to them.

A lot of people are but so far my only problem with this is the fact that it gets in my hair and I can't drive with my window open as it get in the car too.

I’ve never seen a tree like that, but don’t have spring allergies. Many people do have spring allergies which can range from mild to severe.

We also have cherry blossom and I love those trees. These ones are just annoying due to the cotton flying around and get in our hair and our clothes.

@Babino @nela13 No, this fluff isn't used for anything. It is very light and just flies around. After a while it's gone and you don't see it anymore.

That's interesting. I've only seen cotton growing on bushes in fields. Can you get a picture of the cotton growing on the trees? I'd love to see it. And nope, I"m not allergic to cotton.

So plentiful cotton scattered on the ground. It creates problem if there's strong wind. These cottons surely scatter anywhere. They should be swept away
