I am beating the cold.

We are having a polar wave here. I heard this evening that a person had died from the cold. Maybe more than one will die before this is over. There are homeless and although there are places where they can go, they don´t want to. They are afraid that they will make them wash or that their wine bottles will be taken away from them. But we, the lucky ones, have a house that can be made into a cozy nest. I don´t have the means to heat my whole house. But I am in my bedroom with the heater on, the bed heated my a wonderful electric blanket and the TV on. Best still, I am mylotting here. I beat the cold here. My nose is not cold, nor are my feet.
