Earlier, my wife and I were watching episodes of "My Strange Addiction" on Hulu. In one episode a woman claimed she was "married" to a carnival ride. My 1st thought when I see things like on the show is that the people need a good psychiatrist and/or a strong dose of anti-psychotic medication. I also have to wonder though how many of the people featured are actually just doing what they do for attention.

Some things on that show are really crazy! I wonder too though how much is just made up....and how much is actually real.

@jnrdutton I love those shows though some cases are a bit gross. ( like people eating their own hair or licking their cat ) But nothing on those shows really surprise me as I know there are so many different people out there dealing with one thing or another. I haven't seen that episode you're talking about but I can only assume that ride was part of her childhood or she's just feeling comfortable thinking it will make her happy because she's scared to commit her love to a real person. Or maybe something else I've never heard of before but usually when people fall in-love with an object, it's because they have been hurt somehow by people and can't handle it anymore. I remember this one dude being in-love with his car and pretty much making out with it. But I find it strange that he claims he doesn't want his boss and work colleagues to know about this yet is ok with being filmed.
