Memorial Day Plans?

I don't normally, but this year I'll be going to a housewarming party. I wasn't sure whether I would be going, and I could back out, I'm not sure. I hope it will be cool enough out,but I'm not sure what the temps will be. It will just be me, some of my friends and some of theirs. I am sure I'll start feeling uncomfortable in true introverted form. I'll pull through though. What are your plans for Memorial Day?

Hope you go and enjoy yourself. I think I might be getting together with my daughter, she is not sure if she has to work or not, both sons will be working that day so I might end up staying home by myself and cook on the grill either way it goes.

It was a fun weekend, I wrote about it in a discussion I just made. Trying to get through all of my notifications and hoping I don't miss any. Hoping to make a little bit more money before the end of the month.

I am not sure why it is called Housewarming party. Is it because the cold winter is over and Springtime which is warmer is at hand?

No, a "housewarming" is when a couple buys a home (usually their first) and they throw a party and invite people. People usually bring home related gifts. A toaster, blender, something useful for the couple.
