It Was A Full Pool

I don't know if it's the holiday weekend that had people filling the pool at such an early hour, or if it's Friday. However, the reason, it was full.
I didn't actually count the number of people until I got in the car to come home. There were seven at check-in when the pool opened. That's a lot and not everyone was there this morning. Before 5:30 there were an additional three people for ten in all, and with six swim lanes, you know it was crowded.
Being a holiday weekend, the Y is closed on Monday, so it's a three-day weekend from the pool.
A couple of friends have been asking me if it was laundry day yet. I started wearing shorts to the pool a couple of days ago. I messaged my son on Monday and didn't receive a reply. I messaged him again this morning when I got home from the pool and the good news is tomorrow's laundry day. Finally.
Tomorrow will be 82 F and a good day to wear shorts. We're going to have a wonderful holiday weekend - no rain in the forecast, which is unusual for Memorial Day as it always rains on Memorial Day. Not this year.
Do you have plans for the holiday weekend, if you live in the US or the weekend in general? Thanks for reading.

Lot of early early birds getting swim time in this morning. I was snoring at 5:30am
Tomorrow my son is going to paint my daughters room and I'm sure we'll throw something on the bbq. Other than that, no actual plans for the weekend. We're supposed to have nice weather too

I'm glad you're having a nice weekend. It should be fun watching that room come to life with a new color.
You snore? I enjoy being in the pool that early. When I started swimming at 5 instead of 7, I thought it wouldn't be too busy at that hour. I soon learned differently.

@just4him MY knees feel quite amazing, I did over 6000 steps Saturday and 5,000 Sunday without being in pain.

@porwest Now if the rain would go away it would be awesome. I need to accept the two nice days we had over the weekend. Back to rain today and most of this week. At least the flowers look nice and the grass is green, so I shouldn't complain too much.

I bet it was the holiday weekend with the crowd. I am glad you are getting your laundry done and by now already done, I am sure since I am so behind with MyLot. I have notifications back under control but behind in reading. We are going to work outside today. Have the water line to dig up, get the size and the replacement pipe to repair. Also, have the garden to get the grass out before adding more soil and then planting. All of that will not get done today, but hopefully, we can get soil and pipe at the same time when going to the store and ready for another day.

That sounds wonderful! I've seen it fuller on a few occasions. If everyone was there who usually shows up, it would have been 13. One has been absent for a couple of weeks and I'm hoping she's okay. She's fighting depression. It's also the end of the school year and I'm sure she's stressed about whether her son will graduate. He's autistic and doesn't like school, so it's been a 12-year battle for them.

We have Victoria Day long weekend and that's a week before you folks do. Just curious I wasn't sure why people were asking you about laundry day?

@MarymargII Actually, only one. With the fact I don't have winter bulky clothes and have my pants were shorts, it made it only one load instead of two, which it could have been if it were winter.

Wow, unusual for the pool to be that full? I hope it quiets down again later. Yay for laundry. Clean clothes are always nice

Yes, they are. I usually do laundry earlier than this, and I've been watching my selections head into the laundry basket and starting to wonder what I would wear. With it as warm as it is this weekend, I am thinking about wearing a dress to church on Sunday.

@FayeHazel I wore a skirt I had never worn before and got a lot of compliments on it to my surprise.

Sorry to hear the pool was so full! That's a bummer that it will be a 3 day weekend from the pool.
Glad to hear about the weather and you should have a dry Memorial Day. Ours might be a wet one....rain is still in the forecast!

We're having a standard Memorial Day after all. Rain is in the forecast. Don't you just love the way the weather changes from day to day? Maybe we'll still luck out and not get any rain.
It was good. I got a lot of swimming in despite how full it was.

@just4him Sorry to hear that rain is in the forecast after thinking it'd be nice! Hopefully you'll luck out though and the rain will not come.
That's good that you still got to swim even though it was full!

We are going to hit low 70s today. It is warmer right now than all day yesterday. Not sure what we are going to do tomorrow. Depends on how my head feels as I woke up with a Bad headache this morning that is trying to decide if it is going to disappear or get worse.

I have no plans this weekend unless a friend wants to do something and it is away fro the beaches which are already packed with the LGBT celebration that takes place here. Can't get too far anywat as buses only run Saturday schedule (every other weekday trip) and no busesSunday or the holiday.
