Wonderful for Her, Not For Me

A few weeks ago I got a message and it was from someone I have not heard from in years. Seems her baby was graduating from high school, meaning she was due to get her inheritance, I took the kids phone number down, called but never got an answer.
I forgot about it.
A few days ago, she called again. This time I called the kid and got her, set up an appointment.
Today she got her inheritance, she was very happy
This took hours at the bank, yes, who would have known?
By time I was done Tony was tired, I was tired, so no work for me at the rental today.
I think I will clean up the garage.

I think I got a sunburn, I've been out rearranging things so I can plant my afghan pine. I didn't realize just how heavy that pallet was, I'd set the fenceing stuff up over a decade ago when I was still young(er) and strong(er)
Well, it was worth it in any event and now I feel good and tired.

It's a popular one here because it is both drought and heat resistant @andriaperry unlike the pine you probably have these don't need humidity.

I never heard of an afghan pine @rebelann1949. Does it get big like a tall pine tree?

I hope that you have your kind gestured returned to you when you need them, you are so generous.
I had a less then perfect day, but after having a nice supper out with my hubs, I feel better.
And on a good note, I understand why the a/c in a car needs a charge now and again more often then it did on older cars. Live and learn, and I'm still doing that.

This friend left Tony over his estate and I was the accountant for this estate, she was to finish high school and get $500, but Tony put it in a CD to draw interest, she had almost $700.

I had another messed up sleep night. I went with Bob to another town just so I could sleep in the car, and go see my sister. She is having some medical problems and tests.

We went to my doctors appointment at 8:30 then breakfast then went to get Al glasses and then my prescription and then picked up Jack and ate dinner out and now I'm home mylotting. That was basically my day.

@andriaperry If my dad didn't ask me to get something out of the safe I would never have known it was missing. My dad was so mad but so old and ill and could not do anything about it.

Met her at the bank. The money was in an estate account, invested in a CD, she us still under age to get it without the estate signing off.

Don't you just hate it when your day gets ruined? I am actually packing for out trip to New Jersey from Florida. My youngest grandson graduates high school next week and we are going to spend a few weeks up there. Luckily we have a good girlfriend that we stay with and she is planning on going up to New York State to visit her son. We will have the house to ourselves again for about a week. Our trip is scheduled for 3 weeks of being up there. We are both excited as we are from there and will get to visit some friends and families.

@andriaperry Thank you. I am making my phone calls to friends to tell them of our plans and hopefully we can see all my husbands and my friends. I don't know when we will go back up there as this is the last grandchild that we will see graduate.
