Spending time with dogs ticks

Wished I had better time to spend with them. But this afternoon I spent nearly two hours removing pluffy's ticks and again it was exhausting.
This is not my idea of spending time and I really miss dog walking the eldest. In fact, I haven't walked the other three since I've adopted them.
I'm saving up for that frontline dropping soon, it cost 10$ each. I believe it's effective because my brother's dogs no longer has ticks. I remember one time they were infested with ticks and now they all seemed clean all the time.

We use frontline, but it is very expensive here. The last one we bought cost $60. They are effective. I think our dog needs another one, we haven't used it recently, and we found some ticks the other day.

@Letranknight2015 Yes, it is so expensive here. I got a shock the first time I saw the price, but at least it works well.

@Letranknight2015 I think they may be exposed to other dogs in your vicinity that has the problem that is why they are also infested with it. Weekly bath with those shampoo that is anti-tick might help or if you can afford to have them vaccinated they are much more effective.
