Laundry Day

I'm leaving early. I might have two loads as it's been a long time since the last time I did laundry early last week.
I hope to be back by noon and will be myLotting again, then working on a book.
We have clouds, which at some point should turn to sunshine. It rained overnight. Now, no more rain until Monday. Yes, we're having a soggy Memorial Day after all.

I do laundry when our children were still kids and my wife was busy. I helped her doing the laundry and even ironing our clothes.

It rained today...a little while ago for about 30 minutes. Not bad considering the forecast had been for rain all day.

That's not early. I was up at 5, and this was my post when I finished my notifications and got other work done. I know I came back later and interacted more. But no, 8:26 AM is not early. It's late.
Today I was up at 2 AM. I'll regret that later as I want to watch the Indy today but might fall asleep before it even starts.

@xander6464 I'm not even tired. I watched the race from God Bless America, the National Anthem, to the win about half an hour ago or so. There was a multicar pileup that caused an eighteen-minute delay under a red flag. Simon Pagenaud won. He was the lead for most of the race. He's from France.

@crazyhorseladycx There's no way I could carry a basket up those stairs with my knees the way they are. As it is, I pull the basket down my son's stairs. It's easier that way. And there aren't as many stairs.

I know how good that felt. We had two days without rain. Now we'll have two days this week without rain. Today is not one of them. I don't know what time it's supposed to start, but the clouds are thick.

In the morning, we got to some marketing for the week supply or to replenish some foods veggies we had in store for it's our market day. And this evening, we got a heavy rains and thunderstorms.

I dont do anything for memorial day weekend, but I'm glad we're having a nice warm sunny weekend.
