In Need of One Big Puddle

All morning long you could hear rumbling in the distance and a few times it was raining buckets! I don't think that our province will ever dry out! It cleared up about an hour ago and hubby and I went for a walk... he in his favorite Minion T-shirt and me in a long sleeved t and a scrub top. I thought that it was a bit cool for a t-shirt... but what did I know!! He was obviously in the mood to go rambling and I certainly saw parts of the town completely unfamiliar to me. And every couple of streets, we hit a detour which would send us in a different direction... If it wasn't for the Water Tower, it would have taken me a while (yet again) to find my way home. He had no difficulty at all and all the while the temps were getting hotter and hotter. I was ready to take off my shoes and stick my feet in the first puddle I could find. If you were dropped off on any given street, would you be able to find your way home??

Same here, we had enough rain for one month yesterday, it was not hot, but sticky weather due to the humidity.

I am starting to wonder if we skipped spring entirely and moving right into summer temps??

It's hot and muggy this morning... I wonder what it will take for people to start believing in the evidence that we are seeing??

Probably not, I have no sense of direction. I am glad it is warming up there a bit.

Not if I were on foot but if I had a car I could find my way somehow .... I keep a compass in my purse which would help me find the correct direction.

I guess that if you are living in Los Angeles, you would have a lot more streets than me!

In Florida, we have a water tower that I also use to know where home is. Here in Portland, I pretty much know my way around after living here 45 years.

@Hate2Iron I remember when I lived somewhere else and I came to an area I got lost but finally found my way out and on to my home.
