When pets get more attention

I found this picture that was sent to me a long time ago. The lady is seen having to manage both her child and dog and seems to have effectively solved the problem. The child obediently walks along and does not seem to mind the dog being carried. The dog looks contented and why not!!!

I suppose the dog has not a leash and it would be too dangerous to let the dog walk in a busy street. She can grab the hand of the kid, but not the paw of the dog.
