Can't believe I am getting to watch it.

So I spent several hours yesterday on searches on my Roku for All in the Family special live show to no avail 
I didn't want to have to pay for it since I pay enough for internet without adding cable.
Today I spent about another over hour searching again and trying to get ABC to unlock it by putting in Roku and internet codes / passwords etc.
Just got frustrated and tried to give it up and get something else on my mind.
So I went to my Hulu to see what's on and started to browse what was new when it dawned on me to do a search for the old All in the Family. Yep, that's right ! I really could not leave it go. 
Turns out I was wording the search wrong all along. 
It's called
Live in front of a studio audience : Norman Lear's "All in the family" and "The Jeffersons "
So just thought I'd let you all know. Now to watch this fun thing.

@crazyhorseladycx well have watched most of the reruns. This was a new one where comedians of today took their places and it was pretty good after all

yes. this is a special I was wanting to see . it's a tribute to the show. Only new one that disappointed me was actually the reason I had wanted to see it in the first place Woody was not right for that part.

I haven't seen very many remakes that were worth the money they put into it @bunnybon7 but sometimes a spinoff can be workable ..... did they ever make a show about Mike and Gloria as they raised their own kids?

Wonderful smiles on you both. Glad you found All in the Family. I love the show until Edith passed and then I did not like it when Archie got that bar

yes I missed her too. It was never the same. In the special, Marisa Torme done a great job playing her part. I was impressed.
