Memorial Day Weekend

Good morning! I hope everyone is fine this Sunday morning. Right now it's warm here and slightly overcast. It's supposed to get up to 90F and we have chances of thunderstorms. My brother is cooking a shoulder today so we will be having barbeque later today and tomorrow.
Today is cleaning day and I also have to clean my fish tank. Along with cleaning the tank, I have to rearrange as I have both live and plastic plants. I have to take some of the plastic plants out. Yesterday C and I went to get some female guppies but the two places we went to only had males. So instead a got two Nerite snails. They get pretty large and they only mate in salt water so I won't have snails everywhere. But, I think I saw one or two in the hanging plants I have. If they are there, they hitched a ride on the plants I bought. That's a chance you have to take if you want live plants. I don't mind regular snails, just don't want them taking over my tank.
Well, I need to try and get a little mylotting done. I wasn't here for a couple of days and I need to catch up. So, what do you have planned for Memorial Day?

@LadyDuck definitelyi but I wouldn't know how to get rid of them if I do end up with too many. I will say they grow pretty fast. I hope they are the kind that need a mate to multiply. There is one kind that doesn't need a mate. My luck, that's what I have.

Its a beautifully warm and sunny start to our day here today.
We had temperatures yesterday like you are expecting today.
We will have the same today only hopefully with less humidity.
We don't have a long weekend here this weekend, that was last weekend, but I hope that you enjoy yours and take some time to remember those who fought for your freedom.

No plans I cooked chicken and roasted potatoes and Alex and Brandon came over and put in the air conditioning units and we played Yahtzee. Then I took a nap. lol

@simone10 funny how that works, eh? i got some japanese trap-door snails fer the pond years 'go. put'n out'n their bag to acclimate 'n went to get a load 'f hay outta the field. came home'n found the pups retriever thought such 'twas not a good idea'n fetched the bag'n 'd laid't 'pon the back porch. sadly the lil spendy darlin's perished'n the hot summer sun. i got 'em coz they cannot live outta water 'n thus'd not sneak out'n devour my plants.

I had a busy weekend in Paris for a paintball tournament, but I'm back home now and doing nothing but resting today. My sleep schedule is really off right now, so I'll probably take a couple of catnaps throughout the day.

Happy Memorial Day! The weather at our home up north as well as down here has been sunny and beautiful. I had neighbors here for breakfast and will hopefully be attending a pool party and bbq with several friends who live in Florida. I wanted to go to a Parade, but don’t want to push my luck today.

Yesterday I spent the entire day cooking and cleaning. My kids and I had been out to much the prior two days to get it done so it was all backed up. I needed to mow the lawn badly but it was so hot I wanted to wait for it to cool down. Then we got a big thunderstorm with hail and heavy rain that saturated the grass. I don't know what time I am going to my parents today for dinner so I don't know if I will get the lawn mowed today either.
