Do you like Sushi?

Sushi is a Japanese dish made basically of rice and some seafoods or vegetable and fruit and wrapped in nori which is a thin sheet made from seaweeds. I wanted some light dinner for tonight and to save me time to prepare I decided to just have sushi and soup.

Yes, I like sushi, but I avoid to use raw fish because it's dangerous. Did you eat a Miso soup with sushi?

@florelway I prefer to use cooked shrimps or cooked crab, just because I fear parasites.

I eat them separately. I also love Miso Soup mixed with some tofu or seafood. Yes raw fish can be dangerous because of parasites issue. It's best to use cooked fish and seafoods and cucumber or pickles.

In the past I didn't like sushi, but some time ago my husband and I started visiting a sushi restaurant, and now I like it. The restaurant we visit has a conveyer belt with many of different kinds of sushi, and it is nice to try many different ones. I like uramaki the most.

@marguicha that's nice to hear, some people do not like nori but for me it's just super delicious with a distinct taste not common with other foods.

@Sojourn I never heard it to be dangerous, Actually the first time I hear it from you. You maybe referring to sashimi which is raw sea food that I believe is dangerous because it's eaten raw and may contain parasites.

Depending on where we get it around here has depended on if it is good or not. Some of the places do not serve it fresh so it is not worth enjoying. And if you find a place that makes it daily it can be quite expensive when it is Fresh.

Yes, they must be freshly prepared and not recycled and the seafoods used must be fresh.

I understand that, it's a matter of preference and taste adaptation. Some people even here in my country also do not like it. Some find the taste of nori or the seaweed as weird.
