Backdraft 2

After so many years, we welcome back the McCaffery family. Watching Sean's father die in the first movie was a sad ending to the first movie. Now we get to see Sean all grown up and with a huge chip on his shoulder. Sean is now an arson investigator with no respect for authority. He butts heads with everyone over him...including his own uncle. Yup that's right folks, we get to see William Baldwin once again as Brian McCaffery. Sean blames Brian for the death of his father and it shows in every interaction that they have. They see each other more now because someone is using backdrafts to target and eliminate certain people. Sean and his new partner, Maggie Renning, need to solve the mystery of who and why this is all happening. Getting close to the truth could cost him his life or the lives of who he loves. Maybe in the process he can put old ghosts to rest as well. We also get to see Donald Sutherland again as Ronald Bartel. My favorite character from the first movie didn't disappoint me this time either. The man is nuts but fun to watch. I actually really liked this movie. They didn't try to pick up where the first one left off, they didn't try to recreate the first movie. Backdraft 2 is it's own movie with it's own separate story line and issues. I would completely recommend it, especially if you love the first one. *image from google*

My husband loves the first one and I'm on the fence about both. I don't like watching people die lol. He thinks that I'll see it differently once I'm off the birth control and nothing is playing with my hormones lol
