Wowsers...(or, Oh my gosh !!! 2)

I don't sell things on ebay very often that get a lot of attention, but wow, this plate... I haven't seen anything like this in a long time.
This morning I posted about the plate I have up on eBay by artist Clarice Cliff. I was amazed that the bidding/price had gone up from ten something in the very beginning to one hundred fifty two dollars and fifty two cents at about 9:22 am this morning.
Tonight when I checked, at about 9:30 pm, the bids have gone up to one hundred sixty three dollars and fifty cents. So in twelve hours it went up eleven dollars. 
Wowsers. Yikes. Holy bidding wars, Batman....
One person has bid fourteen times on the plate. They must really really really want it, and I am thankful that they do !

must be somethin' special 'bout that plate that'cher not 'ware 'f? i don't ebay so've nary a clue's to how that biddin' schtuff goes.

There must be. If I'm reading it right there's a stamp on the back of the plate that says "1928" or something like that, so I'm guessing its old !

@xstitcher did'ja do some research'n such? could turn out 'tis actually worth way more'n what the biddin' suggests.
