First time I use Shampoo and it really helps

Philippines

Last time I gave pluffy a bath, the soap was not enough and took me two hours to remove the ticks one by one. Like I said before it was stressful. So, for the first time I've decided to buy shampoo that also deals with ticks and fleas. It helped and I got rid of them a bit more easy. But the problem is the place they hang out because it's really tick infested area. How do you disinfect at this magnitude. I went back there and already seen few ticks on him. I'm thinking insecticide but there's risk of poison on them. I tried to clean the area with the used anti tick soap i used but no effect. I'm supposed to bath two dogs today but I really got tired with this one Have a nice day

I think you should take a advise from a veterinary doctor

Hello @Starkinds I only go there when they have a fever or sickness I'm not aware of. They usually profit on you before they actually give a solution. None of them ever really help when my previous pups had parvo.

If the dog house is too big, it's not gonna be easy. The only thing I can think of is baking soda. Scrub every inch and dry it before you put the dogs back.

I've been using Arm & Hammer ever since(it's the only brand we have around here) but any brand will do. It absorbs the odor too by the way... You can sprinkle a little detergent(or soapy water) to make it easier for you to scrub the area.

I thought the same as Bhem . . . the flea and tick shampoo is next to your avatar - and with your title it looks it was your first time using shampoo . I hope you can get all those ticks out (on the dogs I mean ).

Hello @simplfred Well, I had to scratch his body to remove the ticks while applying the shampoo on him. As a result they die easily.
