Cooler and Breezy Today

We've had temperature in the eighties today, also a little breeze and that has helped a lot. I went to the gym to walk the tread mill and people were grouped around the swimming pool, adults and kids. I was tempted to come back to the apartment for my swim suit but I didn't . After I walked and lifted weights I was ready to come home and rest. I made some phone calls and finished reading my book by Jodie Picault. My better half is about to finish a Stephen King so I'll read it next. What did you guys do today?

@RubyHawk A few really good ones and a few things overpriced, it is always a mix isn't it?

Today I woke up at 4 and started working online then I got the kids up at 6 to get ready for school. Got them on the bus at 7:30 and got back to working online. At 1 I will stop working and get busy with some small household chores and cook our supper. I have also done a few loads of laundry during this time as well.

You had enough to keep you busy. But with small children it's always a busy time.

'n more weeds. 'n more weeds. brushed mud off ponies 'n did some weed eatin' (aka: mowed the back yard 's ya can't get the ridin' mower through the gate...). sowed some more flower seeds'n the garden (to 'ttract beneficial bugs) 's we'd that heavy rain the other day 'fter i'd done such. not certain how far't pounded the seeds down, lol. i'd love to go walkin' down that trail!

I wish you could go walking down the trail with me. Sometimes I really miss my gardens, but now I'm worried about having to move to an apartment to an entrance without steps. My better half can barely drag himself up the steps now.I dread the thought of moving.

Well, we had the breezy part today, but unfortunately I couldn’t say that it was any cooler. I think this was our 5th or 6th consecutive day of being over 100 degrees.

@RubyHawk Yes. I'm waiting for the publisher to get it back to me with any further changes in it. Or let me know nothing more needs to be done on my end. It's coming out in the fall. Thread of Evidence.

I had an errand way over the other side of the island which I finished. Now I'm at the library mylotting and survey taking too. I am contemplating going shopping for food, but might go tomorrow instead. I will drop by Hele Gas Station for my liquid pods before going home. It was a very good day for me.

There's a movie base on a Jodi Picault novel, "My sister's keeper". I watch the trailer and it's the kind of family drama I like. I like horror but I'm not much of a Stephen King fan.
