Disney's Hypocrisy, and the problem with "boycotts" in general.

Disney is threatening to boycott the state of Georgia over a new abortion law they passed. Of course, the leadership of Disney have every right to make such decisions, but we (as consumers) have the right to make fun of them over it. After all, freedom can be fun! Disney doesn't seem to have a problem working in nations that have banned abortion. They don't even have a problem working in nations that execute people for being Gay, or Christian, or just speaking out against their government. Disney also refuses to release the classic film Song of the South in the US. In fact, it's illegal for anyone in the US to even order it from a foreign distributor. Why? Because it has been dubbed as a "racist" film. So let me get this straight, is it racist to sell such a film in the US, or is the film itself racist? If it's racist, then wouldn't it be equally racist in Europe, Africa or anywhere else? Or is it just Disney mindlessly pandering to empty accusations against a great film with a wonderful story and fun sound track? Yes, Disney, I think your leadership are a bunch of worthless baffoons and no, I don't take anything they say seriously. And no, I'm not calling for a "boycott" of Disney. Enjoy Disney parks and entertainment all we want. We can even make fun of them while doing it.
