Coming to a close

The day is coming to a close. I have gotten a few things done, but I always want more. Hubby and I began the day by going for a drive. A friend of mine is moving to a town nearby and I wanted to see where she will be living. He has had two naps today, but in between he has planned out the inside walls for the big shed, and mowed a little. I mowed a lot, I am usually worn out by noon. Hubby has slow cooked a turkey breast. We will have that for our meals tomorrow. Today we had ham sandwiches and chips at noon. This evening hubby made some tuna salad that we enjoyed. Besides mowing, and being online, I made up a batch of homemade yogurt, shredded some veggies for tonight's meal and for meals tomorrow. I also made a large batch of natural insect repellent. I promised my daughter I was going to bring her some when we go to Minnesota. You know, there is never a dull moment, as far as I am concerned. I had an interesting thought when I saw cobwebs in the storage above my craft closet. I put insect repellent on my long handled duster and wiped those upper cupboards. Hope it keeps the spiders away. It sure smells nice to me. I pay special attention to my ankles when I am mowing and put on a lot of repellent because I do not want tick bites. So far so good. Tomorrow morning is church of course. I continue searching for comfortable ways to earn from home. I like the school job, but I need year around income. It would be nice to earn a little bit from home and still get to be with my favorite person. Well, good night or good day. I will see you in about ten hours.

It sounds like you've had a really busy day. Have you joined Inboxdollars? They have added games to their setup which makes it a wee bit easier to earn a penny or two ..... sometimes 3. It's becoming harder to earn online these days.

I have been a member there for years. I cash out for $30 about once a year. I am ready to cash out now.

I also mowed yesterday, this morning I washed all the windows of the upper floor, mopped the floors and waxed the three parquets floors of the bedrooms. Now I rest, later I will decide for dinner.

This is Sunday. It has been a bit odd. We went for another nice drive, though.

Did you know yeast pills ward away mosquitoes? I took them when I knew I'd be in the country.

I know brewer's yeast is supposed to repel all kinds of bugs including fleas. Some of the B vitamins repel them as well.

I am a paraprofessional. I do not have a bachelor's degree. I know a lot of the sites that have the tutoring option, but I am some credit hours short. I know cats cannot have essential oils applied to them. Their liver does not handle it. Dogs are somewhat different, but I had never read they were allergic to mint. Spiders hate lavender. One of the homes I worked in I would put lavender essential oil in the mop water and also in the carpet shampooer. We went more than a year without seeing a spider, until the agency had the carpets professionally cleaned. My favorite oil is lemon grass. Citrus fruit oils will make you photo sensitive, but lemon grass does not. On the other hand, I love to spray orange oil or orange and lavender all over the house inside for bugs. Diatomaceous earth is good to dust the doggos with.
