Day 8 Hebrews 8 Hebrews 8:1 Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such a high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens; 2 A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man. 3 For every high priest is ordained to offer gifts and sacrifices: wherefore it is of necessity that this man have somewhat also to offer. 4 For if he were on earth, he should not be a priest, seeing that there are priests that offer gifts according to the law: 5 Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, said he, that thou make all things according to the pattern showed to thee in the mount. 6 But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises. 7 For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. 8 For finding fault with them, he said, Behold, the days come, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah: 9 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, says the Lord. 10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: 11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest. 12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more. 13 In that he said, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decays and waxes old is ready to vanish away. Everyone who ever held a job showed their qualifications for the work. The writer to the Hebrews told them Jesus also had qualifications for the office of High Priest, not according to the Law of Moses, but by God who gave Him the ministry of intercession through His blood on the cross which He offered as His gift to mankind. As Christians, you know when Jesus gave His life as a ransom for you, He did away with the old covenant and brought forth the new covenant in His blood. Therefore, He can say He will be merciful to you and will remember your sins no more. They’re gone. Forgotten. God will never remind you of your sin. With Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross, He gave you a new covenant where the laws are written on your hearts and not on tables of stone. If then, God wiped out your sins and shows you mercy, you should not dwell on what was. Satan likes to remind you of your sin. You need to remind Satan Jesus forgave it and God deleted it forever. You are no longer guilty of the sin that separated you from the Father. Let’s pray: Father, thank you for sending Jesus to bear my sin on the cross and give me new life through His blood. Help me remember my sins are forgiven, and You deleted them forever and I am no longer accountable for my past because You deleted my sin from Your record of me. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen. We are still guilty. This is why the world seems cursed.

My sins are forgiven. I'm not guilty. If you've accepted Jesus as your Savior, you're not either. It's a lie Satan wants you to believe so he can keep you in bondage. The world is cursed because Satan is the lord of the air. Have a blessed day.
