Granddaughter's Baby Shower

I attended my granddaughter's baby shower yesterday and it was so much fun. She received so many gifts I couldn't believe it. I've never seen so many gifts before at a shower.
She and hubby will not need to buy a thing. She received baby car seats, two of those, play pens, two of those, high chair, a baby bed with mattress, blankets and all kinds of cute outfits for the baby. Diapers, bibs and about anything you can think of.
I knew she would get many gifts so I didn't buy anything. I gave them money. They will eventually need more diapers so money will come in handy.

Oh wow, I am glad she got so many things. I am sure that they are both happy and relieved to have gotten so many of those higher doller items. Two car seats, that will come in handy for sure.
I'm glad you also had a good time. How many months along is she?

@RubyHawk Is Renea just a weird spelling for Renee or do you pronounce the a? so it'd be Re-nay-uh ?
Either way, it's a cute name.

aw, she's beautiful! ugh, jest's my daughter-in-law...dunno how some gals can carry that glow 'n look runway ready when 'xpectin'? i looked a beached whale 'n quite miserable, lol.
congrats'n the upcomin' newest 'ddition to the family! those wee 'uns bring's joy'n hopes fer the future.
yes ma'am, looks's though they'd be purty well set to greet that lil bundle 'f joy. yer correct'n the diaper fundin' thingy. dang, those're like buyin' chunks 'f gold these days!
