The kittens saved from the basement started to die

They were blind. I am so sorry for them because they were beautiful. They had blue eyes. One of them died. Yesterday I cleaned their eyes. I have never seen such eyes. I am so tired to try to help those kittens and they die. This doesn't do me any good. When they breathe sometimes I can hear strange noises. I think they have pneumonia. I am very sad. I don't think I am able to treat the others. They will start to die, one by one. They were also very weak and underweight. If you were me, would you try to help them, seeing that they die one by one?

Take them to the vet! If nothing can be done then at least they can be humanely euthanized so they don't suffer.

I am so sorry to hear that. If you are able to help them, why not but if you are also busy then it is okay.

They were probably too sick already before you saved them. How’d you know that they were blind, by the way?

Because their eyes are covered and glued. They don't see anything. You can see in the picture their eyes.
