That's it, it's going in the trash

I think it's probably been over a week since I talked about going through some things and either trying to sell them, donate them or throw them in the trash. Well, it's time for round two of that. I'm going to go through the pile that I kept from last time and get rid of more of them and try to sell the others. I'm talking about adult coloring books here. I just do not use them anymore. I also have colored pencils, markers and gel pens that I am going to bag up and pass on to my 2nd cousins. I am sure they will absolutely love me for it. I might keep some of the gel pens for myself though... Have you done any decluttering lately?

You really learn just how much stuff you didn't need when you are in the process of moving.

Definitely yes. I have been trying to declutter this place once and for all (but it's taking time). This weekend I spent a few hours going through my son's room which was a complete mess. Tons of toys, books, and clothes . . . and other miscellaneous stuff that no one's going to want (bunch of rocks, sticks, super little things). I'm not even done. I did take 8 bags of stuff to donate - not only his stuff, but some useless kitchen stuff and other clothing.

@ScribbledAdNauseum It does feel good to declutter, but I take too much time to do it. My next tackle is going to be this computer table - piles of everything on it. I keep thinking I should just sell stuff like you do . . . but knowing me it will sit there for a long time before I get to it.

@much2say I am staring at my bookcases now. There are so many books that I got for "Free" by selling things that I no longer need and using store credit. I am wondering If I should try to sell these items or not, I just don't know that I'll ever read half of it. Trust me, I am no de-clutter queen. I really have a long way to go and a lot of things to get rid of, but I'm getting there. I have the support system of a friend. I'll message her when I am doing things and she gives me the "you go girl" pep speech.

It feels good to declutter doesn't it? I want to get rid of an area that is just cluttered. Just get rid of it completely. There are thing within the area I want to keep, but once I get a photo album I can place them elsewhere. Good Luck with your endeavors. I am sure you will be well pleased once it's all said and done. I get pleased after every little bit I get rid of.

Not as much as I should. I am gonna have to get serious about it. For some unknown reason I have all these Oprah magazines from years ago..taking up almost a whole shelf in the living room closet. I liked them at the time..but they are years old now, and definitely not worth saving. I have other things I need to put up there like the cat carriers for instance.

I did earlier in the spring but not lately. I could still do more.

It doesn't have to be Spring to Spring Clean. I am so ready for some of this stuff to just be gone.
