Travelling Under A Fiery Sun

Everyday I visit mylot twice - first in the afternoon when I return home from my workplace, and then at late night when I have nothing else to do and everyone in my family is fast asleep. But yesterday I did not ,or,say, could not follow the routine.I got a call from a town 54 kms from ours and I had to leave for that town. It was a terribly hot day.It took me about one hour to reach the town. The man I had to meet there was not in his house.I was told he had left for the income tax office.I went to the income tax office and was told he had left five minutes before I reached there. Finally I found him at a restaurant We talked for an hour and then I left for my town. When I reached home,I was completely exhausted. It was impossible for me to even think of mylot.I took a bath and lay on my bed,but sleep was elusive. At night I somehow visited mylot and commented back on some comments I had received. It was today morning when after waking up from a calm slumber could I develop some interest in myself. I have realised what it means to travel in 47 C under a fiery sun.

It's good you've overcome it. Others are suffering more than you've experienced. They bear the scorching heat of the sun just to earn for a living.

@Nakitakona You are right. There are people who are bound to bear souring temperature only to make both ends meet.I went to the town by my car and I have realised what it means to step out of your home or office these days.I know how it feels to work under a sun raining fire.

@Shivram59 People here complain if the weather is too hot, but compared to many other places we have nothing to complain about. The highest tempature we ever had was about 35 C, and that doesn't happen very often.

@Porcospino Thanks. This year the temperature has broken all records.Today it is threatening to cross 47 C.I'm afraid it might cross 50 if it does not rain within this week.I don't have words to describe how I was feeling while driving along the roads in that town.

Traveling when it is so hot is never fun. I do not blame you for going home, showering and just resting. I do the same thing when I've been out in the sun.

@Shivram59 Yes, when you are far too hot it's uncomfortable to sleep. Especially if you still have the sweat from the day on your skin. I can not get comfortable unless I am cool.
