The other day I told you guys that I would share a picture of what I won. If you remember, I paid $5.00 to enter a raffle type thing. I was the winner! Pretty amazing if you ask me.
The picture doesn't do this piece of art justice. The paint is a little more sparkly than it looks in the picture.

I do not often go for contests and so I understand. I wasn't going to enter this one but it was only $5.00 and I figured it would be worth it. I was thinking that if I won I'd give the piece to my best friend who also entered.

@LadyDuck I used to go online and get freebies, but that was the only thing I could say I ever "won", atleast before the BMC gift card and now this creation.

@tammys85 I just put another $5.00 towards a raffle of hers. The proceeds of which goes towards the Gay Straight Alliance group at a school in Georgia.

Oh well that's kind of cool. I hardly, if ever, win anything. I won a Black Mountain Chocolate Gift card either last year or earlier this year, but that was the last thing.

@simone10 I would spend the lottery winnings on traveling, buying a big piece of land out in the country and growing things on it, hmm, there's a lot I'd do with lottery winnings.

It is seashells and a sanddollar on a frame. I am not quite sure what the design is myself.

One of the favorite places we Love to go that serves a really Good hamburger and fries, I had the pleasure to be given a Free burger twice in the last 2 months. But we do tend to Frequent there a lot, and I also did a Rock for them with their name on it, and thinking of doing a Plaque for them

That is very sweet of you. I guess it's there way of paying it forward. Of course, they also know you frequent the restaurant and are more likely to return if you are rewarded for your efforts. Was the rock one of those small rocks that people paint and hide? I've wanted to do that.

Thank You. I do not enter contests either but my friend tagged me in it and I thought it was worth a shot. I want to say that she knows the people who own the shop, which was another reason why I went ahead and participated, as a way to support them. She (the friend will be getting this piece on her Birthday.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I win things at our family reunion when we do the raffles. I’ve won some small dollars on scratchers twice I’ve won something on Facebook like free donuts and then a necklace one year. But nothing currently.

I don't normally win things. I mean, I get things from taking surveys every once in awhile, but winning things? Not usually. Of course it wasn't completely free, I paid the $5.00 for the raffle ticket.

Neither do I. A friend tagged me and one other on facebook. I had $5.00 for the raffle that I could spare and decided to go ahead and try for it. I will be giving this to the friend who tagged me as part of her birthday present.

I'm just not as lucky as some people when it comes to winning things. Of course I don't seek out things to win either, so that is probably part of my problem. However, I won this recently and a $5.00 gift card to one of my favorite chocoalte places.
