What Does This Dream Mean

I said I intended to keep a notebook beside my bed to jot down any dreams I have and I did that last night. I remembered part of one dream but I dreamed another that escaped my mind before I could jot it down. I have absolutely no idea what my scrap of a dream meant. It must mean something or I wouldn't have taken the trouble to dream it. I dreamed of a stick figure dressed in a black dress with a print of red and blue flowers. The stick figure raised it's arms and the dress moved up, lowered it's arms and the dress moved down. That's the scrap I remembered. There must have been more that I couldn't remember. What do you think the dream means?

Dreams are strange entities. It could mean anything, even the need to buy clothes.

According to dreams books interpretation: "To dream of stick figures may represents waking life situations where you feel that something isn't a big deal at all. "

@RubyHawk I have many dream books and no one coincides with another, they are different according to the country they were written.

Thanks for the info, I still haven't read my library dream book. When I do I'll try to remember to let you know if it coincides with your book. I have a dream book on my shelves and read it at one time and did get a lot of good information as I recall.

@LadyDuck That is according to my experience too. Ones written in the U.S. give different information. I enjoy reading them anyway. I still haven't gotten into this one. I would usually have read it by now.

I think it's my unconscious mind trying to tell me something that I can't understand.

@RubyHawk I agree. We have to figure out our OWN dream symbols.

@TheHorse That's the way I see it, but I think someone who has studied the brain might be able to give us some tools to work with.

I would like to learn to interpret my dreams but I do believe dreams apply to the person who dreams them and not to everyone.

You might be right, maybe it was advising me to wear a dress more often. I hardly ever wear one.

No, it was like something a child would make. I don't think it had a face.

I'm going to just give a random shot that maybe it means you've got yourself a lot of living left to do.

I don't think a dream means anything and bodes well or ill for one's future.

I believe it's our unconscious trying to get information to our conscious mind.I have had dreams that pointed in that direction.

I know. That's what was so weird. It was more like looking at a moving picture than anything life like.

@crazyhorseladycx No, it was more like a child's drawing. Those who have passed on always appear as themselves and we have a good visit.

i often have dreams about family members that have passed on and they are lovely dreams. Or I did when I could remember my dreams.
