Who's for a Gin and Tonic?

I discovered yesterday (9th June) that it was World Gin Day! I know that over here in the UK way back when mothers who lived in poverty used to give them babies gin to quieten them down. Gin was very cheap so it was a cheap remedy. These days though I think we're a bit more sophisticated. I enjoy a gin and tonic; my other half enjoys gin and orange juice (he maintains the orange juice gives him one of his five a day fruit and veg!) and I've now discovered that, on a hot day, a gin and tonic with a spoonful of lemon sorbet can really hit the spot. What about your favourite tipple? Do you like a G&T or maybe you prefer a brandy, whisky, vodka or rum??
