I am tired of sitting here by myself all weekend long so I thought I'd try a "dating" site. After all, that's how I met my husband 17 years ago. A bartender at the local hangout told me that Bumble was the way to go a couple of weeks ago so I decided to download it to my phone to see what it was all about.
You have options--to find dates, friends, or network for business. I set up a profile and then checked it out. It seems to be like Tinder where you swipe left or right depending on your interest or non-interest in the person. You can see their profiles, pictures, and where they live.
I got an immediate "match" or whatever you call it and I thought it was interesting that only the female can send a message initiating a conversation. It has to be within 24 hours or the "match" disappears.
I've also gotten 50+ "swipe rights" which means that people are interested in me. Of course, I'd have to pay to see who they are. I don't know if I'm going to do that. It is nice to see, though, that more than a handful of men find me attractive enough to attract their interest.
Have you heard of Bumble? I hadn't until someone told me about it.

I have never heard of it. Hope you get lucky and find someone nice to meet up with. My days of doing things like that are long past and alone is the way to go for me.
