Beautiful Morning

We actually had very nice weather this morning. After most of the rain has gone, we are left with nice cool temperatures. For a day or two anyway. Then it will heat back up to the 90s F.
I had my coffee in the screen room. The Dude and Brendel joined me of course. It was so nice with a slight breeze and in the low 60s F. Then the sun decided to join us, so I came in to get things done inside.
The yellow day lilies were also like a ray of sunshine in my garden.

It's beautiful here today. I have the sliding door open so the breeze can come in. I"m listening to the wind chimes.
Hopefully I'll get to sit outside for awhile and read after lunch.

seems we've the same front that visited :) wish we'd gotten some rain outta such, but nope jest high winds'n cold temps. those day lilies 're gorgeous 'n no doubt brightened yer day. i ought'a go see if'n the ones here've finally opened. they've 'd buds now fer nearly 2 weeks??

@CarolDM some's better'n none :) so many got way more'n they bargained fer, i reckon we'll count ourselves lucky, eh? we've 'nother front comin' with chances 'f bad weather later this week'n possibly 'nto the weekend. oh joy!
no ma'am, they're still jest's tightly closed's they've been the past week. maybe they'd be waitin' fer the weather to straighten out, too? ;) jest kiddin', i think they'd be like that watched pot not comin' to a boil...

Yes, and we have that lovely weather too. I am really enjoying it, as it will soon end and probably not come again until late August or sometime in September.
