Needle work

There are so many clothes which need repair. I will have to pick up the needle myself to mend them. I have collected all of them in a place. And will hopefully mend them today. I'm glad that my grandmother taught me to do this.
Do you know to do some sort of needle work to repair clothes?

Clouds are impossible to repair. Torn clothes may be. I know you just misspelled it. My late mother is expert in mending clothes and socks.

@Nakitakona I'm grateful. It was a big typical mistake.

I enjoy embroidery. Now teaching it to my younger daughter who is showing interest. Elder one was never interested in it but yes she can mend her clothes. This holiday I taught it to my three nephews in my native aged 8-12. They mended all their loose buttons and torn pants.

@amitkokiladitya the toughest part is to pierce or I would say pass the thread in the miniature hole of that needle.

@amitkokiladitya : Even I! We had special classes for this. They teach embroidery and other art works. Miss those days.

Me too, I learned it during high school in our home economics class. In fact, I have needle and thread in the faculty office in case of emergency hehehe. It did work for my co teacher whose blouse got a wreck from a nail, she sewed it using my ready needle and thread.
