@just4him, I'm glad I'm not allergic to anything, I hope it won't happen to me. It's not good for many reasons.

My eyes are itchy all the time, it can be a few different things, you could be drinking too much caffeine. People hardly ever think that is what it is but itchy eyes can be your body's way of telling you you are dehydrated. Or, it could just be allergies.

I suspect that you are having dry eyes. The tear duct of yours does not create tears to lubricate your eye balls which irritates you as you close and open you eyelids. Or some says over use of electronic gadget can at times dries your eyes.

@Janet357 I sure hope that it will help you ease with the itchiness else there may be ohter problems that lie in your eyes. So I suggest that you ask your eye doctor to examine you so you can have an accurate diagnosis of your condition.

My husband was having this issue for last few months. He got a check up done. His eyes are getting dry. He has been given few eye drops, has to drink a lot of water and also doctor asked him to put a patch of warm water for 10_15 minutes every night before bed.

I experience that when the body is heat. Elders say that body's heat is vented mostly through eyes. So few people will have burning sensation, few will find it itchy. Perhaps, making the system bit cool will help. Try having more water. :) Also, lower down the screen time for sometime. I hope you should be fine in a day or so.
