I feel choked up

It's been a wonderful day. I had a lovely afternoon with my daughter and grandkids. She had so many presents and cards from family, friends and workmates. She has grown from a stroppy teenager to a fine young woman and is well mannered. Her boys are being raised to say please and thank you too" I'm so tired now so I am having an early night. I wake up early so will deal with the notifications tomorrow morning. Photo is of her presents and cards.

@Gillygirl It is important to instill them when they are young. They never forget them! The teen years can be hell with girls. Lordy don't I know it but thankfully it changes almost over night! I am currently in battle with them to use a knife and fork to eat dinner. They tend to copy what they see on the television. It drives me nuts. I tell them if they wish to eat at my table then I expect full graces and not sloppy ways!

how sweet! birthdays go most oft 'ncelebrated here. 'tis wonderful she's raisin' those young'uns right. shows how good a job y'all raised 'er :) i'd wish ya peaceful slumber, but i'm thinkin' yer prolly jest 'bout gettin' 'p, lol.
She did get a lot of cards and gifts-imagine her 30th birthday next year, she'll need 2 tables for them all. My husband and I were both raised with manners, and our son uses them also. I hear some young adults and I wonder why they don't use manners, they aren't something that goes out of style are they?
