I went with my daughter to the dentist today, finally we have the appointment. This dentist is very good and according to her my daughter tooth is, besides the broken part that we can see well, also cracked
which means that later it may broken easily
As the tooth is still growing, it is better wait and reconstruct it later.
She also told me something that I already knew, my daughter needs braces as she has no space for the new teeth, and it seems that she needs it as quickly as possible. I always thought that teeth were only corrected later, but it seems that if she start now it will be much easier to correct it.
I didn't wear braces but my husband did and I think my son will need it too.
Did you wear braces to correct your teeth?

@nela13 yes ma'am, that 'twas my daughters. her jaws too narrow to 'ccomodate those bigger teeth. i'd taken 'er to 'nother dentist who said he'd wait 'til 'n then break 'er jaw'n put braces. uhm, no! i 'twas glad i found this other'n. turned out great. she did spend 3 yrs'n those retainers, but she's perfectly straight teeth.

I had braces when I was a teen, and my sone currently has braces now. My daughter was lucky, she didn't need braces, as her teether are nearly perfect. My son has had his braces for a year now, I think he has about six more months of wearing them before they can be removed.

@nela13 my son is 16. He got his braces on when he was 15. I wanted to do it earlier, but the dentist wanted all his adult teeth to grow in first.

@moffittjc Some dentists have that option but my daughter dentist thinks that is better to start now.

When I was growing up that was my problem too many teeth in my mouth. I had to have four teeth pulled and then braces put on.

I'm glad to read this, I was just thinking about what you did and whether you were at the dentist. So she need to wait ... well, they know what's best.
As a small I had a mobile prosthesis but I did not wear it regularly. My daughter has a fixed prosthesis and her teeth are now perfect.

@nela13 No, it's better when she's small, before her teeth are fitted. If she was older, it would have been harder
