It's my sister in law's birthday today and she sent us some pasta and noodles. But a couple of days ago, she complained about our telephone not answering.
Then I called mom and she told me that it was a different number that came out.
We called the service and they sent us technicians. I didn't know it was even that possible that your telephone nos. can change like that.

From what I know there will be an additional digit from the current 7 digits to 8 digits. I know all PLDT numbers would have a starting number of 8 before your number. But I know this will be implemented on October this year and I have no idea if they moved it earlier.

i've never heard of this news.
so if your current landline number starts with 8, for example, 848-1148, your new number will 8-848-1148?

@hereandthere Yes if you are PLDT, Globe and other landline will have their own prefix numbers. I knew about this change because of the problem I had with PLDT I would call their customer service and they would announce this on before a customer representative would answer the call.

We have one of those number levels that have been changed also and they don´t tell you very often its a case of guessing and when I give them the number they don´t think its real as they are not familiar with it.

How can that happen without any prior notification? Did you check with the provider on this?
