Dentist/Diner - 6/13/2019

Today was my dentist appointment. I had two teeth that were bothering me. One right in the front was loose; and one on the side was bothering me when I ate something firm...it would hurt when I chewed on that side. It turns out that the tooth is loose because my bone has worn and receded. According to the dentist it's not loose enough to do anything yet. He checked the other tooth; and he can't see anything wrong with it; and he's hoping the pain will subside. So, I was expecting to have at least one tooth pulled and have an implant put in; but that's not going to happen! I just have to put up with the discomfort from both of these teeth until it gets to the point when I want to do something about it.
After the dentist my husband took me to a diner that is opening another location near us just so I could try their food. It was mehh. I had chicken tenders. I think I would order something else next time, maybe even breakfast.
So that's what I did today. Now I'm going to catch up with my Notifications and Discussions.

It could be a lot worse. At least I don't have to put out any money right now for an implant.

Did he take any x rays of your teeth. He could have found out more that way.

Yes, he did; and he couldn't see anything on the one tooth that is bothering me for no apparent reason.

I was at the dentist yesterday for a cleaning, but am returning tomorrow for a chipped front tooth. I will either have it bonded or get laminates. They gave me an extra long appointment so we could discuss options. I should just leave my wallet and credit cards there. lol. Good luck!
I usually get breakfast for dinner at a diner or meatloaf.

I was lucky he didn't pull that front tooth because I was going to get an implant. Mega bucks! I think I'm going to have breakfast for dinner when they finally open the diner near us. I'm thinking pancakes and some cranberry juice. Or biscuits and sausage gravy.

@DianneN $60,000?!!!! Did they make solid gold teeth for him? Wow! The cost of the Invisalign is nothing like the old braces used to be. Tell me, how was the pain with the implant? Was it bad?

You always do a lot. Grass does not grow under your feet, as they say! Make sure you make it to the dentist, though.

Oh no, I am sorry to hear that....that would be a pain to have to continue to deal with it! That's why I don't go!
Sorry to hear that the dinner was meh....hopefully if you go again you can get something else and it will be better!

A lot of our old standby restaurants have turned into meh. It's a shame because we make it a point to go out at least once a month; and it's special for us (and expensive)...and then to get a meh meal. Quite disappointing.

I did quite a lot of reading today, ran to the store, and fixed a few meals. Jay had today off, so he was happy.
