"Have you tried to FARM FISH?"

When I was still working in one of the provinces in the Philippines (Dagupan City), I used to dream about farming milkfish at one of the ponds here. It is well-known for local people to have this kind of fish. Through the years being in this place, there is no chance of doing it. For the reason that I am so overloaded with my patients (in or out) in the local hospital at that time. "Have you ever tried to go fishing?" "Do you like fishing in your place?" I think it is fun to go fishing. I had seen some people who are so good at it. Why not eat them?

I haven't tried fishing yet, I hope I can try fishing or maybe I can do that with my son someday once I've been a father.

I think it would be a fun time with your son. Then, you can have a picnic.

My family used to go fishing and camping when I was a kid. I have fished a few times as an adult usually with kids. Fishing with kids is a mess of tangled lines.

I am so jealous that you had tried this. I hope I can do these with my niece and nephew in the future.

@Shavkat The main things to remember when fishing with kids is to not let anyone get snagged with a fishhook, and don't let anyone drown. With very little kids, it is enough to tie a couple of nuts to the end of the line. I hope you have fun with them.

I used to fish with my father, but made him put the bait on the hooks. E I go on fishing boats with my grandson or friends, but just sunbathe. I prefer to have my fish in a restaurant.

I am glad that you had experienced it. I was hoping that I can go fishing with an expert. It is not necessary to eat them though.

@Shavkat Fishing is not for me, but it's fun being out on the water or in the fresh air.

@DianneN I agree. For me, I could try to do it once and had the experience moment only.

I did. When I was young, we visited my Father in the Penal home where there is a large pond of Tilapia. We ask if we like to go fishing and we did, I caught 3 big Tilapia and I had ny Father cook it. I really don’t like Tilapia because of the mud smell of it but Father cook it deliciously.

It is nice that you had experienced it. I do agree that most fish in the supermarket is being farmed out.

I never did this, too. Milkfish is called by the local people as 'bangus.' They are commonly seen in Dagupan City of my country. Image Credit: lovepilipinas.com
