What no CD player in my car?

Hello.Things are moving along nicely here.
Mike is stacking wood.I am here chatting with you.
what do we chat about.Life ,news, music etc.
Not sure people are aware most Cd in later years and new car no longer have CD playersI was reading a person bought a new car.
When she got home and notice not CD players.Well girl guess you were not too attentive what you were buying or know any information on new car.
They have discontinued CD players.Most use USB download your music.
I do not have one.But USB which is much better than CD.Tons of music.
If your tired or it then download some new ones.Simple yes.
Better than fiddle around with CD.I love mine

Luckily for me, I have a 2009 and a 2011 and both of them still have a CD player. However, in my NIssan if I lug in my phone to charge it uses my playlist on my smartphone to play, freaked me out the first time it did it lol

I haven't had a new car in so long, I didn't realize newer models no longer have CD players, interesting.

I remember when everyone was shocked when cassette players were no longer in cars and shortly after no more CD players either. It is crazy! I remember when my grandma had to get a thing to be able to play CDs in her car that connected to the cassette player. Technology is weird.

That’s why people don’t understand the magnitude of the UMG fire that JJ discussed yesterday. They think music is just a digital download. What they hear is the finished product.
Sorry, got off on a tangent. I think Ford was the first company to stop putting CD players in the car. I have one but I’ve never used it. In fact, they make a smartphone holder that fits in the CD slot, and that’s what I use it for. It’s so much easier to carry 8,000 songs on an iPod than to carry 8000 CDs around. Especially in a hot car in August.

I think to save space they get rid of the CD player from cars. But there are new cars with CD players. I have to check out car but I think it has one.

I noticed that too. A lot of my friends seem to like the fancy satellite radio stations. Usb sounds cool though like giant mix tape

My friend always jokes about his car being so old it still has a CD player, indeed I can't wait till he gets a new one and we can listen to music a bit more efficiently. His car is like a walking cd shop.

We were gonna sign a lease, for a new car. They expected us to pay extra for a radio and for a CD player! lol
