How to Interact to a Discussion?

It's annoying or silly not embarrassing or disgusting to ask something which it is already included in your post unless it is a clarification. For example, what's the flavor of the cake? When in fact, it's stated in the post already. That simply mean the user is not reading the article. So I have come up of the following observations on how myLot users are interacting: 1. Reading the title of the post. 2. Reading part of the article. 3. Reading the entire discussion. 4. Going over the comments 5. Giving rejoinder to existing comment. 6. Asking empty question. 7. Reacting on the image posted. 8. Not reading at all and then leave a comment. For the sake of discussion, what are those 8 things you usually do here?

Asking a question makes the user skip the discussion and only answer the question. It is better therefore questions are avoided.

I do agree, but still I prefer to ask questions, at least some one reply on that.

Well, I don't understand the eight points you have listed... Or probably my criteria isn't listed... I have a simple point.... I read a title and then the entire post. Then only I comment. I don't respond without reading the entire plot. Plus to read the entire post, title and the tags have to catchy

What are your criteria then?' You said you read the title, I mentioned it. You said you read the entire post, I mentioned it too.

I always read the whole post before I make a comment and I like to deal with only one point in each of my responses so that it doesn't get too confusing.

Well, not sure what I usually do, but in this case I go for number 3 first. Then I'm not sure how you'll classify this questions, so I'll leave that to you ;-) Embarassing and disgusting are pretty strong words. I would say that it's annoying, maybe embarassing for the other person but instead of going for disgusted I'd go for ignore. Isn't disgusted a pretty strong reaction to people being lazy? Better get on with something else, think they've earned you 0,001 more and go on to a more interesting post.

I read the entire post then hopefully leave a good comment about what I've read. I've seen all those types of comments. There was one that left a comment that made no sense to either the post or anything else. It was the first time I didn't respond or go to that person's profile. I couldn't. I had nothing to say to what he posted. It's disheartening when people leave vague comments that mean nothing and you know they didn't read the post.

I wanna make sure I understand the discussion because it will be an embarrasing if you comment which is not relatable to the discussion.

I always read the entire discussion. I don't want to respond to something if I haven't read it. It is easy to misunderstand some of the details if we only read part of it.

@Nakitakona Thank you. I prefer it that way. Some people only read part of it or the title. When you read their responses you can tell that they didn't read it all.

Before I comment a post, I read it first, analyze and think of the right words to write not to offend the person/ writer. Then, interact accordingly to the commenter.
