A Late Morning

I went to bed late last night, at 11 p.m., so it's no surprise I woke up late. It was after six when I got up this morning, took my shower, and settled down here for the Daily Bible Study. As soon as I got that posted, I was out the door to deliver my younger son's Father's Day gift since I won't be able to do it tomorrow. I hoped to catch him while he was still awake. He's working the overnight shift now, so he was already almost asleep when I showed up.
@amadeo mentioned how late it was already this morning and I was blown away by how late it was and don't feel like I've accomplished much this morning. Of course, he's in the afternoon already while I have a half-hour left of the morning.
Are you often blown away by how much time has passed and it doesn't feel like you've accomplished much?

love yer rocks! what sweet 'n thoughtful gifts :) glad ya caught that young'un 'fore he'd drifted off. i dunno where the morn went? spent a bit 'f time tryin' to quilt 'n then more tryin' to catch a new to me lil bird out back.

@just4him yes ma'am, shared a pic 'f 't here :) a black'n white warbler. 've not seen 't thus far today.
'tis sad there 'twas no answer, hon. i'm sure he loved such a thoughtful gift.

I didn't get in last night til 3 am and in bed 30 minutes later and was up @ about 9am and though I an'tt done much I feel the tiredness in the body and am glad I only have to do one load of laundry. Listening to KLOVE online while I am om the computer

Yes, my morning flew by. I made a run for grocery store and left later than I wanted due to unforeseen circumstances and therefore, got back later than I wanted to. I had picked up some donuts for breakfast tomorrow morning so I snitched one of those since I did not have anything to eat before I left.

@Courtlynn Yeah, on top of getting the notifications finished, I watched a lot on the Roku, then got two books worked on. It was a full day.

Not that often, as I don't engaged in what I am doing that much..but ocassionally when I look at the clock, I am surprised how late it is.

I feel the same way when I wake up late. I am a morning person and most productive in morning. If I miss that time rest of my day just drags without much being done.

Sometimes I feel that before. But now I may not be affected for I am the master of my faith. As a retired government employee for 3 years now, it's my pleasure to wake up early or late. My wife doesn't bother me.
