Our flight home - almost missed the flight

We just finished attending my cousin’s wedding celebration. Today we were scheduled for our flight home. Maybe we were just too relaxed about yesterday’s celebration that going home didn’t feel like going home. When we arrived at the airport we were told that they already stopped accepting passengers and closed our flight. We were kind of shocked but we pleaded that the plane was still there and they haven’t boarded yet the plane anyways. After sometime we were given consideration since our seats weren’t even occupied. I felt that the customer service staff just wanted to power tripped us for arriving late. Were now safe back home and my son would start his school tomorrow.

That's good you've be given consideration. Actually it is a form of discipline for passengers who are late for boarding.

@allknowing Yeah I guess their way of taking revenge when they also gets delayed they also take in the brunt of the passengers anger. Now is their time to put the blame on us passengers who are late. As I said to them we can still ride on the plane since the plane has not boarded the passenger still and the seat was not given to others still so the seats are technically ours yet. That was then they decided to take us in.

Looks like it's a bad customer service. You can complain for that!

Oh I am tempted by that but the fact that they made effort to still accommodate us then I just wanted to let it go. Partly we we’re also to blame but the plane hasn’t even boarded yet and our seats were not given to anyone why refuse us to board.

@acelawrites, I already suggested to him to write an incident report to management in MIA.

As I mentioned in my previous post we attended wedding last Saturday. Yes I admit we weren’t in a hurry to go to the airport because it was near our place. They just closed check in earlier since we were the only passengers that hasn’t checked in so they closed earlier. We were there 15 minutes before departure. And they haven’t boarded the passengers yet and the plane wasn’t even starting to run its engines.

Yeah and a few minutes arguing with them to convince them to allow us in. Fortunately the staff relented when she saw we were determined to go since they could not give enough reason why they denied us entry just because we were a few minutes late.

@amitkokiladitya Yup we did our best to convince them to let us in. We did not cause them to delay since the passengers were not yet boarded in the plane. They were just too lazy to let us in.
