Are You Allergic to Any Food?

As what I have discussed yesterday, I was baking for the first time French macarons. It was not hard for me to make as I followed the recipe from YouTube. It was a masterclass in macarons making in you tube. I ground the almond flour together with the icing sugar. Mixed the ingredients well and let air from the raw macarons out and let it rest for an hour before baking.
I decorated the macarons with sprinkles before baking. Well done. Only a few went cracked at the middle of the cookies. The kitchen smelt so good. When the macarons cooled down, I give some unfilled macarons to my hubby to let him try them. I ate some as well.
Too bad, I felt tingling in my mouth again just like the other day after drinking my guyabano tea. But it was not so terrifying for me like the other day. Then it came to my mind. Could I be allergic to almond? I love eating almond but it was the first time that I baked with almond flour and it was the first time that I had tingling mouth after eating almond (flour).
The unfilled macarons are still in my kitchen, waiting to be filled with chocolate ganache. I am disappointed. They are delicious but I could not eat them anymore. I was thinking not to make the ganache but I think I just have to give some to my friends and leave some for my hubby and son to eat.
I have an appointment to my house doctor this coming Friday. I have to tell her about what happened lately with my health. For now, I have to be careful what I drink and what I eat.
Are you allergic to something? I was tested for allergy a few years ago and it showed that I have only dust and mites allergie. Nothing else.
Thanks for reading. I hope you are all fine. The photo is the unfilled macarons ready to bake.

Maybe you are allergic to almond; just tell your doctor to be safe.

the only thing similarity i can see is they're both in "powder" form. maybe something changes when they are processed since you said you can eat them without problem in their natural form (as fruit/nut)?
be sure to keep the packaging of both and show them to your doctor.

Maybe there is something change when the guyabano is in powder form. I have thrown already the packaging of that tea. Anyway, I am sure my doctor doesn´t know this kind of fruit. Thanks @hereandthere

@LadyDuck Yes, I have tried boiled peanuts. My late mother planted peanuts when we were still children and we used to boil the peanuts. They were delicious. For me, it is the tastier peanuts I have ever tried. Thanks for the information about the peanuts.

I am allergic to penicillin and was tested for allergies since moved here and she said I might be allergic to something and when I told her I sneezed and coughed but she said have to sneeze and cough all day long so I felt she was not for me and stopped going to her. So I could be allergic and I could not be. I believe it has to to do with my rhinitis. I have chronic non-allergic rhinitis and may have allergic too which is no picnic.

@Nevena83 I do not understand how you did not have much food? You have a variety of foods, you do not eat every day the same food

You have to ask for the common food allergy test but someone people pop on them and others pop on blood so you have to do both. I’m allergy to egg whites, my husband is allergy to kiwi, my oldest child is allergy to walnuts, my middle child has no food allergies and then my youngest has peanuts, eggs, shellfish, almonds, and wheat germ (wheat).

@thelme55 It’s ciprofloxacin, an antibiotic. Our doctor prescribed it for us before we visited third world countries to prevent illnesses. It worked extremely well. However, I developed my one and only UTI years ago in Florida and my doctor prescribed it again as a general antibiotic. That’s when I became severely allergic to it. It was awful.

I was allergic to eggs. But I did not stop eating them because I love them. Some time ago, I stopped to be allergic, just the allergy disappeared

@LowRiderX so you still eat egg even if you are allergic to it?

@thelme55 It seems that the allergy has receded by itself, I'm not sure how. But I was doing tests and it was said that I was allergic to eggs. And indeed, always the skin reacted to me whenever I ate eggs
