A Brief Explanation

I have been unable to spend time here over the last month and will probably continue being absent for a while. I know many of us wonder what has happened when someone disappears from the site, so I thought I'd give a brief explanation. My husband is unwell in hospital and I try to visit him twice daily, as the hospital is nearby. Meanwhile I'm trying to continue swimming training as there's a new round of Masters competitions coming up, I'm working on my latest book whenever I have the energy and at the same time trying to keep our small family business going. All this doesn't leave me with a lot of energy. However, I didn't want my friends here worrying. I'm okay and one day you'll see me back here.

Hi Val. I am glad you are okay. I understand that you can´t come often here. Just come when you can. I hope your husband will be fine soon. Take care of yourself.

Thanks Fiacre, things have stabilised here and although my husband is still in hospital life is going more smoothly for us all.

Sorry to hear about your husband Val and hope he'll be okay. I can certainly understand your being unable to spend much time here but it's was nice that you popped on and gave us an update. Looking forward to seeing you when things calm down. In the meantime, enjoy whatever time you can find for yourself.

@valmnz Thank you for letting us know. Yes people have disappeared from here and I wondered if they are ok. I am so so sorry about your husband. I completely understand why you will not be here. You have a lot to deal with is why I can see that you do not have energy.
