The past few weeks my co employees were complaining about a mice playing around the office. My boss’s table was literally trashed and used as toilet by that mice. Her cables were cut by it and telephone lines were disconnected. In dome other table food theft was common.
Today was different because in one of the office table it smelled bad so we complain with bldg admin to have it checked. And indeed they traced it down the wall dead. We discovered a lot of trash and plastic stuffed on the wall. He seem to like to hoard many plastic wrappers and eventually became trapped there and maybe suffocated from his treasure. Now seems like the problem is solved and the smell slowly drifted away after the body was removed from it.

@amitkokiladitya I think that building admins are brewing something against them. They have outsourced that job and they even have an on call that when things like this happens they can easily call them to find and trace where it is.

it's bad enough that it stole your food and pooped everywhere, but the cables and lines being cut is a big inconvenience. i hope the building admin covered the wall so it doesn't attract and house another rat.

Our building is quite old already. We transferred here just last year when our old office building was scheduled for demolition. I was surprised that this new office building will be having this problem but they have fast action when things like this happen. They have people that are on call when smells like that happens in the building. And they were good at tracking where they hide.
