To Many Commercials

I watched this show before called The 100, I watched the episodes on Netflix and caught up on the first 4 seasons. I liked it although I usually and not into sci-fi most of the time. I then heard season 5 was coming out so last night I watched in on the CW network since I get that station on antenna. What I didn't realize was on Netflix there is no commercials and this show is nothing but commercials when you watch it live on TV. The first commercial break I thought when it finally went back to the show, wow that seemed like a lot of commercials. So the rest of the breaks I counted how many commercials there were and they averaged 7 commercials per break. The show was from 8pm to 9pm, a whole hour but the show really was only about 35 minutes and 25 minutes of commercials. I went back to Netflix and looked at a few episodes to see how long they were without the commercials and sure enough on there they average about 39 minutes. That means there were an average of 21 minutes of commercials when it first aired. I guess this is why I don't watch things live on TV. That is 21 minutes I could be doing anything else other than watching commercials. With all those breaks I kind of lost what was going on in the show. Do you watch a lot of live TV and sit through all the commercials?
