Giving Baths

I spent this afternoon giving baths to the Beast and the Eagle. Respectively, those are our truck and our camper. The only area I wasn't able to reach was the top of the camper. I count on Mother Nature to keep that area clean most of the time.
Do you wash your own vehicles or do you pay someone to do it for you? During the school year, I will often take the car and truck to the car wash. The camper I always wash.

Thus far, I haven't let anyone else was the Beast. I used to take our old truck to the car wash about twice a year. My wife takes her car (actually, I take it) to be detailed four or five times a year. There isn't anyplace nearby to take the Eagle. I imagine I would have to find a place that washes 18-wheelers.

@DWDavis That makes sense. Mines just a sedan so it is much easier. Though for me I am short and can't reach the room but the step stool works handy!

@DWDavis because they are 4,6 and 8 and have only done it twice and the last time my 6 year old was 4 and had a melt down because he was scared I had to claim into the back just to calm him down.

I do it when it gets done. If we ever dry out enough I will take it out back and wash it.

That reminds me of a story my Uncle Warren used to tell about how he never washed his car unless a rainstorm passed through. Then, he'd take a bottle of dishwashing liquid, spray it all over the car, and drive around in the rain. Mind, I never saw him do this and believe he was making it up, but he told it like it was a true story.

It looks as though you've done a great job!
We will take the cars to the car wash. There is a great place that details them for us that is quick and very efficient and the workers are new to our country, and they work so very hard, it is great to help someone starting out in our land. I wish others took such pride in their work.
