National Vanilla Milkshake Day 1877 - Alexander Graham Bell installs the world's first commercial telephone service in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. 1893 - Lizzie Borden is acquitted of the murders of her father and stepmother. 1942 - Brian Wilson was born. He co-founded the Beach Boys. He's an American singer, songwriter and record producer. After signing with Capitol Records in 1962 Wilson wrote and co-wrote more than 24 Top 40 hits for the group. Some of the Beach Boys' famous songs: Surfin' U.S.A., Surfer Girl, California Girls, Caroline No, I Get Around, Help Me Rhonda, Good Vibrations, Kokomo, God Only Knows. 1952 - John Goodman was born. He is an American actor. He played Dan Conner on the Rosanne show from 1988-1997 and 2018. Some of the movies he was in: The Babe, The Flintstones, 10 Cloverfield Lane, O Brother Where Art Thou.
