My 4 year old is that one kid that yells in the store with excited when he see someone or something he likes.
So today we are shopping in Walmart getting things for the week. He saw this old man shopping across the way. He asked me why Santa Clause was shopping. I told him because he is on vacation and he needs to eat too. So then he yells supper loud, “Hi Santa Clause” starts to way.
I try not to laugh and hope that the old man didn’t just hear my son call him Santa. Not sure if he heard my little guy or not. Then a few aisle later he was on the same side as us and my son again this time didn’t yelled just said to him as we walked by. “ Hi, Santa, by Santa!”
Never a dull moment with little bug.

He looks cute and you're blessed that with such a fun kid, enjoy it as much as you can because he won't be young for far too long.

That is adorable. But hey, if he looked like Santa what's to say it was not Santa on vacation, I still believe.

I didn’t want to bust his little bubble so we told him he was shopping for food while he is in vacation. He was cute about as embarrassing as he was but he is 4 and the really did for all I know he is the guy that they hire at our mall to be Santa. The same guy doesn’t it ever year and he is totally sweet.

That is pretty cool that he thought the guy was Santa! When Christmas comes this year, you should have your son leave Santa a note that says "Hi Santa. Remember me? I was that kid that said hi to you in Walmart back in June!"

I might have to write for him but we can write him in his Santa Letter asking if he remember see him at the store. This last year the kids got on the this whole thing of trying to capture Santa and we faked a picture of Santa placing one of the presents down and it just showed his glove and the toy the kids went nuts.

@ShyBear88 Oh you are so sneaky! What a great idea! When my daughter was finally getting old enough to start questioning the existence of Santa, I thought about having a buddy of mine dress as Santa and then on Christmas Eve make a lot of noise putting out presents so it would wake my daughter. I never followed through with the plan, but oh boy would it have made a believer out of my daughter!

@moffittjc me and my husband we get into it. No Elf on the shelf though I don’t do that creep thing. We tell the kids there is a secret camera where he is watching you. Yes some kids don’t think he is real and that’s okay but if someone else thinks he is don’t be mean to them go along with it. But all 3 of mine still believe he is real but they also know he has helped Santa’s as well because he can be in all the malls but he deliver all the toys in one night. They watched this movie this year around Thanksgiving called the Christmas Chronicles and they wanted to get him on video so we got him on camera!

If he was my son I would said he is shopping for all the Children's Christmas gifts. He has a long list and he has to get an early start on the shopping list so he is ready to come down the chimney in December.
