Why to argue....???

Usually the people I have met have more inclination towards having a disagreement and changing it into an argument. Whether friends, my husband, my colleagues and me as well... But something strange happened yesterday, when I and my bestie was talking about a task that was assigned to us, we had two different approaches. We started to disagree and suddenly I said, " let's not start an argument instead let's discuss what can be done." He smiled and said "well said" Then I realised why is every disagreement is about who is right and who is wrong.... Why can't we just find a better way to sort an issue... What do you think...???

Yes arguments are never good. Better to discuss with love and respect

@Aansh13 I either be quiet when someone starts arguing or I move from that place.. I really don't love to lose my peace and happiness

Often, like Joyce Meyer teaches, I apologize even if I am not the person at fault. This clears the air and makes peace.

Nothing wrong with having a difference of opinion or solution to solving a problem. Arguments can be healthy and constructive. As you have notice, it's when our ego gets in the way and it turns into a "who is right and who's wrong" issue.

Yeah! When it's about right or wrong the whole issue begins...

As experienced taught us, arguments are both counterproductive and time wasting. Better spend the day doing your work that wasting it to someone who thinks he is right all the times.

Nice topic again. This is what I believe being rational means. I have seen too many people who lack this sense.

Many people lack this sense.... There point is just to prove themselves right and therefore it leads to arguments

Agree to disagree is indeed a great end to any argument/debate/discussion

It may relate to being competitive that leads to proving that you are the right one or you are the better one.

Yes, true. But also, it's good to find the root cause of an argument and solve from there.
