Living and Life....

I always believe, we make our living by what we get, whether job, whether food, or any other part, living is made with respect to that.... But.... We make life by what we give to others. Life is much more amazing when we believe in giving love, affection, help and empathy. Just today, I met our new maid, as usual everyone around in the family are treating her like a maid and are restricting her from number of things, but when she came to my floor, I told her treat this floor as your home and be comfortable. I don't believe in restrictions. She is an old lady, must be 60, and is still working due to her circumstances. I made sure, she feels comfortable...once again I chose humanity. I can't see people in trouble...

That second line is the best line ever that I have read on the entirety of mylot. You must make that your quote. The truth in that statement is for all humanity to know. My congratulations for that brilliant idea. I could use with a little help but spare me hiring a maid. I do not like treating my fellow man as I am master and superior. My family has had house helps before and now they are friends. We treated them equal. They ate with us on the dinner table, They have their own rooms. My grandma sent them to school.

@Aansh13 Same culture here. Slavery reinforced when the Spaniards came. Society became more divisive, the rich exercising power over the poor. Servitude was a way of life for many. That is why, when Japan and many Arab countries needed domestic help, our maids applied by the bulk. They became known as ofw's or overseas Filipino workers. OFW is officially an Oxford English word. That is because of our maids. Aanshi Raghava, your conviction speaks of you. You are a good person.

That's very kind of you. When we get a house helper, we treat her as a part of our family. We treat her like our elder sister.
